Dr. Lev Kirischian, Ph.D., P.EngDr. Lev Kirischian is an Associate professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Head of the Embedded and Reconfigurable Systems Laboratory at Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada. His research interests include: development of parallel and reconfigurable computing systems, architecture-to-workload optimization mechanisms, high-level architectural synthesis methods and algorithms, self-assembling and self-restorable reconfigurable processors. Lev Kirischian obtained his PhD in Computer Engineering from Moscow Power Engineering Institute, and MS in Electrical Engineering from Moscow Institute of Aviation Technology. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario, Canada and a member of the IEEE.

Dr. Vadim Geurkov, Ph.D., P.EngVadim Geurkov is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada. His research interests include: built-in self-test and built-in self-repair in reconfigurable computing systems, digital and mixed-signal systems testing and testable design, self-diagnosis in microprocessor based measurement instruments, and error-control codes. Vadim Geurkov received his PhD in Computer Engineering from the Institute of Control Sciences, Moscow, Russia, and MS in electrical engineering from Georgian Polytechnic University, Tbilisi, Georgia. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario and a senior member of the IEEE.

Mr. Victor Dumitriu, M.A.Sc. (Ph.D. Student)Victor Dumitriu is pursuing his PhD degree in Computer Engineering in the Embedded and Reconfigurable Systems Laboratory at Ryerson University. His interests include automated system design, embedded dynamic reconfigurable system design, reconfiguration management mechanisms and high performance stream processing. He has receive his B.A.Sc. and his M.A.Sc. degrees in Computer Engineering from Ryerson University.

Mr. Dennis Marcantonio, B.Sc (Master Student)Mr. Dennis Marcantonio received his B.Eng in Electrical Engineering from Ryerson University in May 2006. He is currently a M.A.Sc degree in Electrical Engineering at Ryerson University which he started in September 2008. His research interests include developing optimal algorithms for implementation on FPGAs and user gesture control with the use of a stereo camera. He has a M.A.Sc. in Computer Systems from Ryerson University and B.A.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Toronto.
